Contractors Demand Engineer
We at Nova, a dynamic and constantly evolving media and telecom organization, are looking for a Contractors Demand Engineer to join our Radio NW Technology & Budget Controlling team.
You have a challenging mission to:
Ensure effective demand, procurement, and budget management by coordinating POs, forecasts, contracts, and vendor performance. You will work closely with internal teams, procurement, finance, and external partners to ensure timely delivery, SLA compliance, and alignment with approved CAPEX/OPEX plans.
What will you do:
- Manage and track Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure timely ordering, delivery, and alignment with project requirements.
- Consolidate and monitor demand forecasts from internal teams to support efficient procurement planning.
- Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance against agreed SLAs and coordinate corrective actions where required.
- Track budget consumption related to contracts and procurement, ensuring alignment with approved CAPEX/OPEX plans.
- Support the administration and monitoring of contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed commercial and technical terms.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards on PO status, SLA performance, demand evolution, and budget utilization.
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution and service delivery.
It would be nice if you have:
- At least 2- 3 years of experience, preferably on telecoms
- University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field.
- Contract Management: Knowledge of the contract lifecycle, including drafting, review, approval, renewal, and compliance.
- Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, vendor obligations, and commercial terms, with the ability to interpret POs, invoices, and delivery timelines.
- Project & Demand Management: Experience in aligning contractual commitments with operational demand, forecasting, and project requirements.
- Good understanding of procurement, inventory, and supply chain processes, preferably within a telecom environment.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to monitor demand, budgets, contractual obligations, and vendor performance.
- Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with finance, legal, network planning, procurement, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Project Management certification such as PMP (PMI) or PRINCE2 is considered an advantage.
- CPIM (APICS) certification is considered an advantage.
- Telecom-specific knowledge and/or vendor-specific training (e.g., Ericsson, Huawei, or Nokia) in telecom procurement or operations is considered an advantage.
